This event will take place locally this year. We want to recognize some of our people, and there will be interesting seminars on Saturday that can be attended individually. The rules for induction are below the event information. Feel free to nominate any Kwanmukan individual meeting the requirements. Please note that the total inductees will be limited, so you might not want to nominate everyone who qualifies in your dojo the first year. Some will not be accepted because more senior individuals will probably go first, and then others in later years.

Call for Nominations
Submissions are accepted via this website (ONLY)
Eligibility Requirements
Minimum of 35 years of involvement in martial arts. At least 6th Dan or higher, or exceptional contributions to martial arts. Significant contributions such as teaching, competition success, community service, or media work. Must exemplify values of respect, discipline, integrity, and leadership.
Submission Guidelines
Nominations must include: Completed nomination form with all required information. Self nominations are prohibited. Nomination Review Selection committee reviews each submission. Committee consists of Guardians of the Legacy. Finalists are chosen based on vetting criteria.
Announcement of Inductees
Selected inductees are notified by mail. Official announcements are made on our FACEBOOK page.
Additional Note
Inductees may be awarded posthumously. Unsuccessful nominations may be resubmitted. The Guardians of the Legacy reserves the right to limit the number of inductees annually.
