For those of you who remembered the Storer Avenue days, Leonard Smoot, who trained with us then, passed away.

Patricia Smoot Wicks has informed us that her father, long time practitioner Leonard Smoot, passed away last Saturday. She wished that this sad news be shared with The Karate Community. Leonard will be buried in Glendale Cemetery in Akron, Ohio on December 30, 2025 at 2:pm. The attached photo provides info on a Celebration of Leonard's life.
